SXM One Love Basketball Association, which started as a team in May 2014, became an Association in June, has merged with the Chargers Basketball Association. The new organization will be called SXM One Love Chargers Basketball Team. The team has registered with the National Basketball Association and will be playing in the new season slated to tip off in November. The team practices two days a week at Milton Peter's College. Derick Prince is President and Head Coach of SXM One Love Chargers. Kimani Olivacce (13) who founded One Love is the team captain and Delano Hutchinson is the coach.
