Last reminder for the Summer Classical Concert tonight

Tickets are available from various outlets and are also on sale at the door

You have time to secure a seat for tonight's highly anticipated Summer Classical Concert, presented by the Classical Delight Foundation. The special evening of live classical music offers St. Maarten audiences a rare opportunity to experience world-class performances by talented Caribbean artistes.

Earlier today, the foundation also shared the musical experience with local students through its outreach programme. Children from several schools attended a special morning performance and participated in masterclasses led by the visiting artistes, providing an enriching introduction to classical music and performance.

The concert features an impressive line-up of musicians from St. Maarten and Guadeloupe. Making her debut on the classical concert stage in her home country is St. Maarten pianist Shammah Richardson. She will be joined by fellow St. Maarten pianist Irina Kaufman-Brookes, alongside Guadeloupean cellist Lucile Mauchoffé, pianist Dominic Boulianne and soprano Marie Marsolle.

For more than 20 years, the Classical Delight Foundation has been bringing the beauty and elegance of classical music and opera to St. Maarten audiences. Through its concerts, the foundation continues to make live classical performances accessible to long-time enthusiasts and newcomers alike, while showcasing accomplished musicians from around the region and beyond. The Summer Classical Concert begins promptly at 8:00pm at the Belair Community Center.

Tickets are priced at US $30 (€30 or XCG 54) for adults and US $15 (€15 or XCG 27) for children. Advance tickets remain available, and patrons can also purchase tickets at the door before the performance. Tickets can be obtained from Pianissimo Music School, The Daily Herald, La Vista Hotel, The Mailbox, NIA (National Institute of Arts) in the John Larmonie Center, or from Classical Delight board members Bernadine van Veen (+1 721 520-1030) and Sabine Lans (+1 721 520-3236).

You are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy this unique celebration of classical artistry in the Caribbean.
