My boyfriend and I have been together for a couple of years now. I have a good job and can support the two of us, so I want him to quit his job and stay home to take care of our children because I’m afraid he will cheat on me with a co-worker or some woman he meets on the job.
He claims I am the only woman he loves and he wants to marry me, but my last boyfriend cheated on me and I guess I haven’t gotten over it.

Dear Jealous,
I would not go so far as to say you are insane, but wanting your boyfriend to quit his job because you are afraid he will cheat on you, without any indication that might happen other than your own fear, is way over the top.
If you cannot learn to trust him, I do not hold out much hope for your relationship with him. Professional counselling (yes, dear readers, again!) might help.
