Seaweed galore

It took some heavy lifting to clear the Sargassum seaweed from the popular resort-lined Dawn Beach on Friday. A front-end loader scooped up the weed that floated in all the way from the North Atlantic due to warmer seas and tide patterns. The weed has covered most beaches and coves along the eastern and southern sides of the island.
