Bikefest is back – and there’s still time to join in on the fun! The 18th Annual SXM November Bikefest will be keeping the spirit of the biking community alive and bringing riders and enthusiasts together once again. Taking place from November 11 to November 15, with preparations already underway, this milestone edition promises to celebrate the passion, friendship, and Caribbean brotherhood that have made Bikefest a cherished St. Maarten tradition.
Among those looking forward to joining us are our beloved “Misfits” from St. Croix, along with some die-hard Caribbean enthusiasts from Martinique and Guadeloupe, as well as bikers from Aruba, Curaçao, Holland, France, Canada, Luxemburg, Germany, St. Barths and Anguilla. Their commitment to making the trip is a true testament to the camaraderie and dedication that have kept Bikefest going for 18 incredible editions. For years, Bikefest has been about much more than motorcycles. It is about friendship, freedom, the thrill of the ride, reconnecting with old friends, making new memories, and bringing people together from across the Caribbean to celebrate a shared passion.
More than motorcycles: Giving back to our community
Beyond the rumble of engines and the excitement of the festival, Caribbean Eagles SXM takes pride in giving back to the community. Over the years, the association has supported local charities, educational initiatives, and community cleanup activities, and in recent years has supported a local youth program focused on giving young people without parental support a second chance.
This year, Caribbean Eagles SXM extended its support to the Men Mental Health Organization, demonstrating its continued commitment to causes that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. The festival also plays an important role in promoting St. Maarten internationally. Attracting more than 100 international visitors annually, Bikefest brings additional business to the island and gives visitors an opportunity to experience our vibrant culture, warm hospitality, and beautiful surroundings.
Your support can make a difference
Organizing an international event of this size is not without its challenges. In today’s difficult economic climate, securing sufficient funding and sponsorship has become increasingly challenging. Nevertheless, Caribbean Eagles SXM remains determined to keep this beloved tradition alive. We are therefore inviting local businesses, community partners, and supporters to join us in making the 18th edition a success.
While financial sponsorship is greatly appreciated, you don’t have to contribute financially to make a difference. Donations of products, raffle prizes, and goodies for our welcome bags are equally welcome. Sponsors will have opportunities to showcase their businesses through logo placement, social media promotion, tent space at the event, and placement on the back of the official Bikefest T-shirts. Every contribution, large or small, helps us deliver a memorable festival while continuing to support worthwhile causes in our community.
