PHILIPSBURG--Repairs to parts of Great Bay Beach will be carried out today, Monday, from 8:00am to noon, the Ministry of Infrastructure VROMI stated.
The repairs are a result of heavy rainfall that eroded parts of the beach in the past weeks.
The repairs will start from lower Front Street, commonly called “down street” to Holland House Beach Hotel. An excavator will be used for the works.
Beach chair vendors and other beach users are requested by the Ministry to keep the beach free from obstructions.
