The St. Maarten International Championship is underway at St. Maarten Speedway on the Great Bay Promenade. Racers from around the world including a large contingent from Germany have travelled to the Friendly Island for four days of model car racing.
Action continues Friday and Saturday at 4:30pm and Sunday at 4:00. Reggie Coram owner of the Speedway and a model race car champion himself hosts two the championship annually on the eight lane track.
