MIDDLE REGION--Michael Paris won the St. Maarten St. Maarten Pool and Billiard Players Federation Top League Double Elimination 8-Ball Pool Tournament.
A total of 11 shooters came out to play. Games were held at the 8/9 Pool Bar in Sucker Garden and Shark Pool Club in Middle Region.
Paris had been undefeated going into the semi-finals where he faced Kelly Franklin in a race to win four games. Franklin won and advanced to the final.
Paris dropped down into the elimination bracket and faced Junior Phillips in a race to four wins.
Paris won and advanced to the final to meet Franklin again. The second time it was a race to five wins. Paris won 5-3.
