Domino’s Regatta sets sail Saturday

 

Six schools will compete in the 2nd annual Domino’s Interschool Regatta

SIMPSON BAY -- Six schools will battle it out on the water during the 2nd annual Domino’s Interschool Regatta.
 Teams from Learning Unlimited, Caribbean International Academy, Sr. Regina, Milton Petres College, St. Dominic and Montessori have signed up to race in the regatta organized by the St. Maarten Yacht Club
  A total of 30 young sailors are ready to race! The competitors gather at the Yacht Club at 12:00 to prepare their boats and the racing will commence at 2:00pm in the Simpson Bay Lagoon next to the causeway bridge.
  The Domino’s Interschool Dinghy Sailing Championship is organized to promote the sport of sailing on St. Maarten and give all the young sailors on the island a chance to represent their schools, where normally they race for themselves or for their Yacht Club.
