AMSTERDAM--Napoli suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in the opening Group F fixture in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Dani De Wit was the hero for the “Cheese Heads” in the second half, whose squad had been decimated due to COVID-19, and the “Partenopei” dominated possession throughout the match but they were not able to beat Marco Bizot in the Alkmaar goal.
NEW YORK --Rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for 161 yards on 26 carries Monday as the Kansas City Chiefs toppled the Buffalo Bills 26-17 at soggy Orchard Park, N.Y.
The 100-yard game was the second for the first-round pick from LSU and came after the Chiefs (5-1) signed Le'Veon Bell following his release from the New York Jets. Bell, a two-time All-Pro running back, did not play while following COVID-19 protocol after reporting to the Chiefs last week.
