Dear Queenie,
My children are all grown up and living in their own homes. But when they moved out they each left a lot of stuff that they didn't have room for in their new smaller places. Now I'm getting ready to move into a smaller place of my own because I don't need such a big place now that they are gone.
But Queenie, what do I do with all their stuff?—Overcrowded
Dear Overcrowded,
Have you told your children yet that you are planning to move? If not, do so immediately.
Either way, give them until your moving day to collect their stuff. Tell them that whatever is left in your old home when you move out will be donated to the Salvation Army or whatever other organisation is willing to come and take it. No doubt someone will have one great flea market sale!
