MARIGOT—A young man was killed in a motorbike accident on the RN7 in French Quarter on Thursday at around 2:0pm, the Gendarmerie confirmed.
The victim, a 23-year-old from French Quarter, was riding a moto cross bike, illegal on the public roads, when he struck a pedestrian and died from his injuries at the scene. The pedestrian was also seriously injured and transported to hospital.
The Gendarmerie is investigating the circumstances and causes of this fatal accident. No further information could be obtained by press time.
