SIMPSON BAY--Team Island Water World of St. Maarten won the first race in their class during the Anguilla Regatta Friday.
“We took the start in the first race and build the lead from there,” said skipper Frits Bus.
“While the other racing boats stayed low rounding the corner at the lowlands, Team IWW stayed on a high course and therefore where able to reach Anguilla with the spinnaker up.”
The regatta continues today and finishes Sunday.
