EUSTATIUS -- Statia Basketball League is set to continue on Saturday night at the Earl N. Merkman Sports Hall starting at 6:30pm. The games will start with the Dijker Basketball Sports Academy Peewee League, where the 5-12-year-old division will play first.
From 7:30pm-8:30pm, the GVP Boys league will take to the court with the 13-17 year olds. Thunders coached by Miguel “Dijker” Chiverton will battle against the Top Snipers coached by Victor Santos.
The second game will pit Swishers coached by Taro Merkman against the Ballers coached by Alan Lane.
From 8:30pm the Statia NBA league players will suit up when the 17 and older division. The Starz will battle Young Rifles. The second game will feature Top Ballers against the Shottas.
