St. Maarten defeated Netherlands in the Kingdom Baseball Tournament in Aruba to finish third out of five teams.
The tournament, open to players age 12 to 17, was the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations Ronald Plaster and was organized by the Ministry of Justice of Aruba and of the Netherlands.
