ST. EUSTATIUS--The basketball tournament is scheduled to continue at the Earl Merkman Sports Auditorium tonight.
The games will kick off at 6.30pm when the PeeWee leagues hit the court, followed by four games of the junior and senior leagues. The night will feature a mixture of various teams going against each other for the final basketball games for the year 2018.
The organizers are inviting everyone to come out and see off Emilio Spanner, Statia’s 2018 Basketball Dunk Champion before he departs to continue his education and basketball future.
Last week the Hassell team, captained by Rient Hassell beat the Spanner team by a score of 49-42.
