Femke Jansen, number 24 (middle of second row,) played basketball in the Netherlands. She moved to St. Maarten about seven months ago.
She missed the game so went looking for a court on the Friendly Island. She found the Walichi Basketball Association and has begun training for the upcoming season. Word spread to the Netherlands that the weather in the Caribbean is nice in November. Now several of Jansen’s team mates from Utrecht want to come for a visit and of course play a friendly exhibition game. Tip off will be 7:00pm November 10, at L.B. Scott Sports Auditorium.
