Dynamic Sports wins 26 medals

CURACAO--After three days of competition, has won 26 medals at the 27 annual Trupial Auto-City Championship in Curacao.
Dynamic lead by coach Abdule Wattley, have won 13 gold, nine silver and four bronze medals.


St. Maarten competed against teams from St. Kitts/Nevis, Aruba, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Barbados, Suriname, Bonaire, St. Eustatius and host Curacao.

Day 1 relays

Four of the 13 gold were won in the relays. Kyle Kwidame, Schnell Campbell, Joleen Tomlin, and Titus Richardson Boasman recorded the first win in the Under 9, 4X100 Mixed Relay. Sylvian Martina, Sebastiana Reyes, Jay Ambris, and Carlos Brison followed with gold in the Under 11 Mixed Relay.
Jemar Phillip, Sebastiana Reyes, Jamal Simon, and Chanel Richardson won the Under 13 4x100 Mixed Rwlay while Jemar Phillip, Chanel Richardson, Carlos Brison, Sebastiana Reyes aced the Under 13 event.

Day 2 14 medals.
Dynamic athletes added 14 medals to the tally in the second day of competition.
Medalling were U-7 Joleen Tomlin 60M Gold; U-11 Sebastiana Reyes 60M and Ball Throw Gold; U-11 Carlos Brison 60M Gold; U-11 Jay Ambris Long Jump Gold; U-13 Chanel Richardson 60M Gold and Silver in the Long Jump; U-7 Schnelle Campbell 60M Silver and Long Jump Silver; U-9 Titus Richardson 60M Silver; U-9 Kyle Kwidama 60M Bronze and Silver Long Jump; U-13 Roagan Benjamin Long Jump Silver and U-15 Roshania Benjamin Long Jump Bronze.

Day 3 Road Race
The competition moved off the track and onto the pavement on day three for road races. Dynamic record seven more medals.
Winning were U-9 Shardea Richardson 600M Gold; U-11 Carlos Brison 1000m (1k) Gold; U-11 Sebastiana Reyes 1000m (1k) Gold; U-7 Schnelle Campbell 600M Silver; U-7 Joleen Tomlin 600M Bronze and U-13 Roagan Benjamin 2000m (2k) Bronze.
“Our most outstanding athlete was Sebastiana Reyes winning 6 Gold Medals,” said Coach Wattley.
Daniel Beauperthuy competed in the U-15. “He gave it his best shot against athletes who have been doing track and field for a very long,” said the coach.
“I am extremely proud. This was his first track and field competition ever and has only been training for 2 months”
“Other athlete who competed was Malakhai Duzong who also gave it his best shot but was overpowered by the athletes of St. Kitts.”
