Aruba defeated Netherlands 11-0 in the opening game of the Kingdom Baseball Tournament in Aruba. Team St. Maarten is scheduled to face Curacao 1 Monday morning, Curacao 2 Tuesday morning and Aruba in the afternoon.
St. Maarten will face Netherlands Wednesday morning and the competition final is set for Wednesday afternoon. Coaching the team are Edmund Williams and Yamal Thomas. The tournament, open to players age 12 to 17, is the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations Ronald Plaster and is being organized by the Ministry of Justice of Aruba and of the Netherlands.
