Pro baseball player Marvin Lee Orr is on St. Maarten. He took time out from his vacation to visit the Little League’s Player Development SXM program.
Orr, who was drafted by the Padres in the 13th round in 2011, spent nearly two hours with the young players, catching, batting grounders and as an outfield himself hitting pop flies to the athletes. He signed a ball for the group and promised to return before he leaves the island.
