Dear Confused cousins,
I know of at least one family in the United States in which first cousins got married, but I understand they had to travel to another state to get a marriage licence because in the USA laws differ from state to state.
If you are not first cousins it probably would be okay, but I do not know precisely what the local law on this is. A lawyer could spell it out for you.
