Woman left unsconcious after  being thrown out of vehicle

Police cordoned off the location where the woman was found.

 

PHILIPSBURG--A woman was thrown out of her boyfriend’s car on Wednesday night. She lay unconscious on Union Road in front of Tackling Gas Station.

  Officers of the St. Maarten Police Force KPSM Detective Department are investigating the incident, which has been labeled a domestic violence case.

  Around 10:00pm Wednesday KPSM Central Dispatch received a report about a woman lying unconscious on the asphalt. A patrol was dispatched to the location.

  The victim M.R.K. was shoved out of her boyfriend’s vehicle after an altercation, police investigation showed.

  Ambulance paramedics tended to the victim and helped her regain consciousness. She later filed a domestic violence report with the Criminal Investigation Department.
