Triangle talks

The so-called Caribbean Netherlands law enforcement triangle consisting of the Island Governors, Police Corps and Justice met in Bonaire on April 4 about the new Traffic Ordinance that goes into effect per August 1, and a damages fund for violent crime victims. The Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard also gave a presentation on their deployment in the region, with the attorney general and chief prosecutor both in attendance. St. Eustatius was represented by Government Commissioner Mike Franco and Saba by Island Governor Jonathan Johnson.
