Tourism debate

Charlotte Brookson Academy will be represented in the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau’s Junior Minister of Tourism Interscholastic Panel Discussion by Chanel Almonte, Zoria Arrindell, Marie Fidel-Balthazar, Jeremiah David and third-former Aiyaunty Romney. Students have already completed “an impressive amount” of research on their topic, according to discussion organisers. The panel discussion is set for Friday, May 19, in Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The winner will represent the country at the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Youth Tourism Congress in Grenada in October. Other participating schools are Milton Peters College, Sundial School, Methodist Agogic Centre, St. Dominic High School, and St. Maarten Academy.
