Students of Hospitality First, a St. Maarten Training Foundation (SMTF) academic initiative, received certifications this week for completing the Casino Customer Service Certification course.
The ceremony was held at National Institute for Professional Advancement (NIPA) on August 4 and certifications were presented by The Maho Group’s Vice President of Casino Operations Sergio Porcasi. Owners and operators of Sonesta St. Maarten Resorts, along with other concerned industry parties, founded SMTF and continue to offer programmes and certifications in a variety of courses for hospitality employees in St. Maarten.
