Summer beat

It may be deep into the low tourist season, but Oyster Bay Beach Resort is still enjoying relatively high occupancy by timeshare owners and guests who are eager to soak up sun and fun on the island.

OBBR General Manager Ricardo Perez said the resort is at 75 per cent occupancy and the atmosphere is very lively. Guests get a sampling of local arts and crafts every Monday and Thursday and are treated to the Manager's Cocktail Party on Monday evenings. A farewell party is held on Fridays to ensure everyone leaving or just saying “bye bye” to the week does so in a fun way.
