- EUSTATIUS--The oldest citizen of St. Eustatius, William “Uncle Bill” Euson, passed away on Friday, July 12.
Euson, was born on Statia in 1918, celebrated his 101st birthday on May 16, 2019, among family members, friends and government officials, who had all marked the grand occasion.
Euson was known as an impeccable dresser, a lady’s man and devoted to his extended family and friends.
