This pallet-paved walkway behind Prins Willem Alexander Primary School is a frequently used link for, among others, parents and pupils of Sister Magda Primary School. The shipping pallets were placed along the walkway to help pedestrians avoid the mud in rainy times.
The constant heavy foot traffic has resulted in damage to the pallets creating both a dangerous situation from jagged planks and a muddy one when the weather turns bad. (John Halley photo)
