Half of the plastic cover from the base of this palm tree is missing and a number of paving bricks were dug up and piled haphazardly for some underground repair work on this section of Front Street.
The bricks and the missing plastic cover create a tripping-trap for pedestrians and are already to blame for several people tripping. Most have narrowly escaped injuries.
