Wave action associated with the passing of Tropical Storm Karen completely stripped Sunset Beach of its sand, leaving the bare rocks exposed on Tuesday morning. The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten (MDS) warned on Monday that beach erosion was possible in vulnerable areas. Nature is expected to replenish the beach in no time.
