Tyre thieves left a Pelican resident immobile on Wednesday morning. The car-owner woke up to find his car where he had left it parked minus the tyres he had left the car standing on. The theft of tyres and parts from certain models of vehicles appears to have spiked in the past months, with more owners sharing their plight on social media and elsewhere as a warning to others.
