Prime spot

The 26-acre La Belle Creole Hotel is on the market for US $35 million, according to its new and fully detailed website labellecreolestmartin.com, co-owner of the property Rick Nicholas confirmed to The Daily Herald on Tuesday. “Robert Trown and I own the property.

We are looking for an investor or developer who will redevelop the resort. There has been a lot of interest, but the property is not under contract and is available for purchase. The local French government (Collectivité) has been very supportive and wants to facilitate this development. Most of the luxury hotel brands are excited about the property; however, their current business model is to manage properties, not own them.”
