Man arrested at PJIA for false document

AIRPORT--The Police Alpha Team arrested a man R.J.Z.M. at Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) on Tuesday evening because he was traveling to St. Maarten on a fake driver’s licence.

  1. reportedly arrived on a flight from Haiti. At the Immigration control, officials noticed he was holding a false Panamanian driver’s licence.

He was then arrested and taken to the Philipsburg police station for questioning. He was later incarcerated, and police confiscated the fake licence.

The Daily Herald understands the man is being processed for deportation.
