Organizer and promoter of the show Shirley Smith and her team organized the King of Kings Competition in lieu of a Carnival Queen Show.
The audience responded very enthusiastically to the contestants. Due to rain interruptions, the show only ended at 4:00am. Nevertheless, the crowd remained throughout the show. Some enthusiastic women admirers even went as far as “pinning” some cash to the contestants.
The judges for the contest were Nevis artist, decorator, trainer and Culturama organiser since 1985 Vaughn Anslyn; model, designer and tattoo artist from Aruba, Dashell Kock; and pro-bodybuilder from Curaçao Marshel Herman.
