ST. EUSTATIUS--A group of students from St. Eustatius departed from F.D. Roosevelt Airport on Sunday morning, to further their studies in the Netherlands. Family members, friends, teachers and well-wishers came out in force to see the youngsters off. It was a very emotional scene as the loved ones of the students bade their farewells. Tears of joy and sadness, as well as hugs and kisses were on full display. The students received a lot of words of encouragement and advice from those gathered. The students will make their journey via St. Maarten to the Netherlands, where they were set to arrive on Monday morning. Another group of departing students also left the island later in the day to meet up with first group.
