PHILIPSBURG--The maximum consumer prices of petroleum products – both unleaded gasoline (ULG) and diesel fuel – have dropped in adjustments that take effect today, Tuesday, August 25.
ULG is set at NAf. 2.015/litre, down from NAf. 2.167/litre, while diesel fuel is set at NAf. 1.540/litre, down from NAf. 1.618/litre.
The adjustments were announced by the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication (TEATT). “Due to the ongoing developments on an international level, the prices of crude oil have experienced adjustments. Taking into consideration that our local prices follow the international trend, our prices for ULG and diesel will also experience an adjustment,” the Ministry said.
A wide variety of global factors such as conflict, transportation trends or production in Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) countries affect prices continuously.
