Despite intensified police controls in recent weeks, vehicles are still driving around with what appear to be fake number plates. The letter and numbering on this vehicle (in picture), which carries the number plate R 475 does not correspond with the letters and number font on authentic plates issued by the Receiver's Office as can be seen on the vehicle with the authentic number plate R1857. Both vehicles were seen at the fence at Princess Juliana International Airport SXM on Saturday.
