Island Gems Charity Foundation continues its mission to assist social and educational-based organisations on both sides of the island with a recent donation of a computer to St. Martin Santé, the diabetes awareness association of the French side. The computer will be used for, among other tasks, the association’s information forums. The computer was presented to Chantale Thibaut, medical therapeutic coordinator for St. Barths and St. Martin by Island Gems Vice President Anne Karine Fleming (right). Island Gems, an all-women group, raises funds for such projects via its annual costume gala. The next gala will be in 2018.
