Competent Communicator

Toastmaster Mathew George (right) of the Philipsburg Toastmasters Club was awarded the distinction of Competent Communicator recently, for completion of the Competent Communicator manual with the speech entitled “Call me Marah.” The Toastmasters mission is to provide supportive and positive learning experiences in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. The Philipsburg Toastmasters Club meets at Philipsburg Jubilee Library on the first, third and fifth Thursdays of every month at 7:15pm.
