PHILIPSBURG--Labour Minister Emil Lee urges businesses and unemployed persons to register via website www.jobopportunity.sx .
He told reporters at a press conference on Wednesday that the website had been developed with a goal of having businesses and workers register their profiles.
The Ministry of Labour is working closely with other departments and will be hosting weekly registration sessions for employers to ensure that they are registered properly on the site.
A session will be held at the new Government Building every Thursday this month from 6:00 to 7:00pm, when businesses can go in for assistance on how to register. Lee said advertisements will be placed in the local media to highlight this.
He also urged persons looking for employment to make use of the opportunity
