Academy students inspired during motivational sessions

EBENEZER--The Student Care Department of St. Maarten Academy's Preparatory Secondary Vocational Education (PSVE) section held its third-form motivational sessions on Thursday, March 2.

The motivational sessions are geared towards empowering and inspiring students to continuously participate in school and positive behaviour. The school said the interactive sessions inspire students to work to achieve their highest potential and personal best. The sessions focused on topics such as future aspirations, the benefits of punctuality and class participation, the model of having the right attitude, drugs and crime.

"Through these dialogues with the students, the Student Care Department engaged in preventative strategies that will engage the students on the effects their decisions have on their life," Academy said.

The school's management and Student Care Department thanked Sachael Hyman, Edna Evans, Lenworth Wilson Jr., Rumari Rodgers, and Kyran Williams for their contributions as speakers at the session. "Through your efforts we ensure that students are ignited to be model students and model citizens in our country St. Maarten," the school said.
