ST. EUSTATIUS – Thunderz finished the regular St. Eustatius Softball season in first place for the second year in a row. Thunderz faced Lions at the Frederick “Sonny” Cranston ball field on Sunday evening. Thunders won 18-3.
In the second game Los Tiburones took on Young Kings. Young Kings started off strong, built a 22-4 lead. Los Tiburones battled back but could do no better than 26-16.
The Young King with the win created a 3-way tie between themselves, Los Tiburones and the Lions with less than 5 games left to play.
Softball action continues on Wednesday, when Los Tiburones are expected to take on the Lions starting at 7:00pm.
