Former Little League baseball coach Duncan van Heyningen (r) captained a team in the recent Charity Basketball Game at L.B. Scott Sports Auditorium. His team won a tight game by one point and the group decided to donate US $200 to Little League’s Player Development.
His opponent, captained by Rolando Brison (l) matched the contribution. Brison’s foundation, Making Tourism Work For You, then matched the contributions of both teams. Accepting the donation was Player Development captain Revolino. The money will be used to paint and prepare the truck containers that will house the afterschool programme that helps children with homework and improving their reading skills before practicing baseball.
