Learning Unlimited triumph at Caribbean Gems Swim Meet

COLE BAY--Learning Unlimited took top honours at the annual Caribbean Gems Inter-Schools Swim Meet which was held at the Carib Swim Team Pool in Cole Bay on Sunday.

The swim meet which attracted four schools was very competitive this year. The competing schools were Learning Unlimited (LU), Methodist Agogic Centre (MAC), St. Dominic Primary and CIA Montessori.
The schools competed in Girls and Boys 100 SC Metre Freestyle Relay, Girls and Boys 10 & Over 100 SC Metre Freestyle, Girls and Boys seven and under SC Metre Backstroke, Girls and Boys 8-9 25 SC Metre Backstroke, Boys and Girls 8-9 50 SC Metre Breaststroke, Boys and Girls 10 and Over 50 SC Metre Breaststroke, Girls and Boys seven and Under 25 SC Metre Freestyle, Girls and Boys 10 and Over 50 SC Metre Freestyle, Girls and Boys 8-9 25 SC Metre Butterfly, Girls and Boys 10 & Over 25 SC Metre Butterfly, Girls and Boys 200 SC Metre Freestyle Relay.
The winners were Girls 100 SC Metre Freestyle Relay, Learning Unlimited Team 2, Boys 100 SC Metre Freestyle Relay Learning Unlimited Team 1, Girls 10 & Over 100 SC Metre Freestyle, Arianna Lont (LU 1), Boys 10 & Over 100 SC Metre Freestyle, Thomas Ten Broecke (LU 1).

In the Girls Team Score, Learning Unlimited Team 1 scored 174 points, St. Dominic Primary School 135 points, CIA Montessori 115 points, Methodist Agogic Centre 106 points and Learning Unlimited Team 2 with 65 points.
In the Boys Team Score, CIA Montessori 175 points, Learning Unlimited Team 1 169 points, St. Dominic Primary School 162 points, Learning Unlimited Team 2 52 points and Methodist Agogic Centre 50 points.
In the Combined Team Score, Learning Unlimited Team 1 scored 343 points, St. Dominic Primary School 297 points, CIA Montessori 290 points, Methodist Agogic Centre 156 points and Learning Unlimited Team 2 with 117 points.
