CAY HILL--The St. Maarten Soccer Association Senior Championship continues with three games at Raoul Illidge Sports Complex Sunday. At 4:00pm Flames United will face United Super Stars. At 6:00pm Soualiga takes on Funmakers and at 8:00pm C&D meet Hotspurs.
Last week United Super Stars beat Hotspurs 3-1. Fantilus Yvan, Edwards Romaric and Richardson Julio scored for the Stars. Ernes Ilbert netted for Spurs. Funmakers and Veendam battled to a 4-4 draw and in the late game Reggae Lions clobbered C&D 6-1.
Andre Knol, Rinaldi Ivan, LA Cruz Edemar and Dublin Daniel scored for Funmakers. Potmis Brandon scored three times and Holiday Jazz once for Veendam.
Lions won with goals by Hitchinson Romario, Stewart Ryan, Basil Wong, two by Johnson Deran and Diaw Tierno. Gordon Junior sored for C&D.
