Kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu featured in competition

ST. PETERS--St. Maarten Martial Arts Federation (SMMAF) is holding their fourth competition on Saturday, May 18 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Milton Peters College Gym.  The event will showcase two combat martial art for adults and children- Muay Thai Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.


  The following schools will participate in the Muay Thai kickboxing event: Marco London's Sityodtong Foundation, Akeem Lewis’s SXM BJJ/Sityodtong Cole Bay, Kyokushin St Maarten, Caribbean Shidokan St Martin and Caribbean Karate Oyama.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitors will be represented by SXM BJJ Renzo Gracie St. Maarten, Saint Barths Jiu Jitsu Team, Guadaloupe’s ZR Team and an invitation is open to grapplers of all levels and ages 5 and up to register.
  Jiu Jitsu competitors taking the ring at 9:00am and will be followed by Muay Thai Kickboxing at 1:00pm.
