SAINT MARTIN--Darrius "Hawk" Jackson will climb into the ring in hopes of winning the Welterweight title at Vanterpool Stadium on April 4.
At age 21, Jackson has already had 10 pro fights and gone 31 rounds. He has yet to loose a pro fight. He stands 6 feet 1 inch tall calls himself the Hawk and is alrady dreaming of being the greatest fighter of all time.
That may have come with help from his mom. Not only does she encourage Jackson but she went out and got him a promoter. Not just any promoter but the legendary
Murad Muhammad.

For those of you who do not recognize the name Murad Muhammad, he has been in boxing from the age of fourteen. He worked with the greatest of all time Muhammad Ali. For more than 40 years he managed Ali.
And now not only has he agreed to represent Jackson but has labled the up and coming star as “The Future Greatest of All Time.”
Jackson is no stranger to hard work. In fact since age five he goes to his fathers gym and trains everyday since age 5.
“I want to become world champion, I want to be the greatest,” he said. “I'm not just in it to win the belts, I want to be the greatest.”
Murad Muhammad said this historic event promises to be a defining moment not only for “Hawk,” but for the island as it hosts a championship boxing showdown of this magnitude. The community is encouraged by Muhammad to come out and show full support as this young champion with roots from Saint Martin steps into what could be the fight that launches him onto the world stage.
