MARIGOT--On Sunday, February 8, 2026, the 22nd edition of the Saint Martin 10KM took place organised by Avenir Sportif Club de Saint Martin (ASCSM) with impressive results.

From the start, the competition promised to be exciting, with runners such as Alvin Nardin from Evasion Sport Guadeloupe (winner of the 2024 race), Fabio Thaly from Golden Star (Martinique, winner in 2025) and Michel Pradel from Moule Running (Guadeloupe) all taking part.

In the women's race, Sunilda Calme from Endurance 97-1 (Guadeloupe), with no real competition in the absence of Cécilia Mobuchon, also made the trip.

From the 3K onwards, Alvin Nardin broke away from the leading group and finished the race in 30'42, a fine performance for this athlete who is used to being on the podium. In the women's race, unsurprisingly, Sunilda Calme finished first in 38'11, followed by Schmitt Nathalie from Stade Clermontois in 40'07.

Matthieu de Fossey Gautier from Iguana Crossfit and Jeannot Gouin from Intergeneration Runners (IGR) finished in the top 10 men, improving their 10km times in the process.

In the women's race, Hope Ross Florentine of SXM Road Runners and Bruneau Méline of SXM Tri Academy were among the top five overall. Full results can be found on sport-timing-caraibes.com

“Everyone agreed that this new flat, fast course is conducive to good performances over 10km,” stated the organising club in its press release. “In addition, the Bronze label has been awarded to this race, which qualifies it for the French championships. This makes the “10KM de Saint-Martin” a popular sporting event for runners seeking performance and quality organisation.

“It should be noted that of the 157 runners who took part, around 40 had travelled to the island specifically for this race. The ASCSM welcomes participation of runners from outside Saint-Martin, as it raises the standard of sporting events on the island and attracts a different kind of tourist to the territory.”

Save the date: the 23rd edition of the 10KM de Saint-Martin will take place on  February 14, 2027.
