DOMINICAN REPUBLIC --Team Island Water World sailor Frits Bus will represent St. Maarten in Caribbean International Laser Regatta in Dominican Republic this weekend.
Bus is defending the Master Class title he won last year. The three day competition is set to feature four races a day depending on the weather.
Sailors from the Caribbean and northern hemisphere meet in Cabarete to participate in Open International Midwinter Regatta.
The Cabarete Training Center also host many sailors from Europe who are gearing up for their summer racing season.
Top sailors are already preparing for the CAC Games, Pan Am Games and Olympics.
