Junior King of Middle Region is in the Dominican Republic chasing his dream of becoming a professional baseball player.
King is training with the Top 10 Baseball Academy. He runs the beach every morning and then works on batting and field throughout the rest of the day. “I played 6 games and I have 7 hits in total,” reports King. “We have won 6 out of 7. In the batting line-up I have been hitting fourth.” King has already done try-outs with Yankees, Indians, Mets and Giants. “My 60 yard dash has been 6.50.” A time of under 7-seconds is considered good. King’s next try out is scheduled for later this week with the Pirates.
